Art is abundant and the beauty of the human spirit is striking. Travel to one or several of the culturally-rich countries that make up this region.

Born Free Tours offers a true “West Africa Mosaic”. Choose to take one of our special scheduled departure group tours, or we will create a special-interest mosaic with segments to Senegal, the Gambia, Ghana, Benin and Mali on a custom itinerary. Many trips are built around the fabulous festivals of each country.

Ghana is a land of ancestry for many Americans. It is home to a diverse number of peoples and cultures. Compared to other countries in the region, Ghana is stable and prosperous. The city is modern, the nature parks are beautiful, and the towns exude a typical West African charm. You’ll see locals in traditional clothes next to well-suited business people. Travel to the back country and you’ll get a feeling of yesteryear, with handicrafts, medicine men and street markets. A trip to Ghana is sure to be unforgettable!

DAY 4 Kakum Nature Park To Cape Coast Castle

Leave the hotel early in the morning and head north to Kakum Nature Park, a tropical rainforest in the heart of the Atandanso Reserve.
